About Cultiva Studio

The word "cultiva" is Spanish for "cultivate," which means to promote or foster growth. We believe in collaborating with our clients to foster the growth of their businesses with the projects we design.

Cultiva Studio was founded by Lisa Glassberg, Principal and Creative Director. She has more than 10 years experience working in the graphic design field. Most recently she worked for a year as a senior designer for Ketchum, a public relations firm located in Washington, D.C. While at Ketchum she worked on campaigns for consumer marketing, social marketing, public affairs, health care and corporate. Prior to Ketchum she worked for 7 years at Ogilvy Public Relations in Washington, D.C. Lisa has also worked for a few marketing communications firms in the D.C. area.

Lisa graduated from Haverford College (in Haverford, Pennsylvania) with a B.A. degree in Art History from Bryn Mawr College. While earning her major in Art History she also studied studio arts like photography, printmaking and life drawing. After college she also took continuing education classes in design at The School of Visual Arts in New York City. Lisa grew up and went to school in San Juan, Puerto Rico. She is bilingual in English and Spanish.
